Where can we find in the Bible that says,..the Holy Spirit is God? [MIZRACH, an avid fan and fanatic to IglesiaNiCristo - INC 1914 founded by Mr. Felix Manalo and currently under the leadership of his own Family (from Felix (founder) to his own son (Mr. Erano) to Mr. Erano's son - Mr. Eduardo]

According to them, Holy Spirit is only an IMPERSONAL POWER sent by God. [the term ‘God’ for them is referring to the FATHER, they don’t consider Jesus Christ God but a mere-man compare to their Founder Felix – as ANGEL]

This Article is address to all Quasi-Christians who deny the doctrine of the Holy Trinity and the Personality of the Holy Spirit.

PERSON: AN INDIVIDUAL WITH PERSONALITY

PERSON is a being considered as a distinct entity; an individual with personality.

PERSONALITY: Distinctive qualities or characteristics which constitutes a person; personal existence.

Clearly, a PERSON is one that has a personality whose distinctive qualities shows them to be an entity which differs from other beings.

GENDER NOUN

[John 14:26] but the PARACLETE, THE HOLY SPIRIT, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all I have said to you.

Holy Spirit - the PARAKLETOS [the Comforter, Advocate or Counselor] IS A MASCULINE GENDER. You cannot address a Gender Noun to THINGS, or to any IMPERSONAL POWER OR FORCE (like wind, flame etc). ‘Parakletos’ is given and address only to a PERSON.

[John 16:8] When HE comes, HE will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgments.

Again, the word ‘HE’ is a GENDER NOUN that denotes to a third singular masculine person.

[John 15:26] But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, HE will bear witness about me.

[John 16:13] But when HE, the Spirit of truth, comes, HE will guide you into all the truth. HE will not speak on HIS own; HE will speak only what HE hears, and HE will tell you what is yet to come.

The word ‘HIS OWN’ is a possessive adjective form. So, we clearly see that the word used by Christ to addressed the HOLY SPIRIT is a GENDER NOUN [simply because he is referring to a PERSON] and not a NEUTER NOUN ‘IT’ or ‘IT’s’ given to any IMPERSONAL FORCE or THINGS.

HOLY SPIRIT: A PERSON WHO CAN SPEAK, DECIDE AND MAKE AN ACTION:

[1Corinthians 12:8-11] The Holy Spirit dispenses gifts to different individuals according as He wills.

[John 16:13] But when HE, the Spirit of truth, comes, HE will guide you into all the truth. HE will not speak on HIS own; HE will speak only what HE hears, and HE will tell you what is yet to come.

HE will Guide, HE will and will not Speak on HIS own, HE can Hear etc.

[Acts 8:29] The Holy Spirit SAID to Philip, ‘Go up and join that chariot.'

[Acts 13:2] One day while they were offering worship to the Lord and keeping a fast, THE HOLY SPIRIT SAID, ‘I want Barnabas and Saul set apart for the work to which I have called them.'

[Acts 21:11] he took Paul's belt and bound his own feet and hands and said, “THUS SAYS THE HOLY SPIRIT, “This is how the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the owner of  this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles”      

We can see that the HOLY SPIRIT can indeed speak for itself.

HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD

[Acts 5:3-5] why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the HOLY SPIRIT… You have not lied to men but to GOD.

[Matthew 12:31-32] And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the SPIRIT will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the HOLY SPIRIT will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

ONLY GOD CAN BE BLASPHEMED!

HOLY SPIRIT IS CO-EQUAL, CO-ETERNAL WITH THE FATHER AND THE SON JESUS CHRIST

If Apostle Paul reminded us how JESUS CHRIST is a CO-ETERNAL AND CO-EQUAL with the Father when he wrote:

OLD TESTAMENT	NEW TESTAMENT
[Psalm 45:6] Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.                                           [this is applied to the FATHER]	[Hebrews 1:8-9] But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”

Is the same Apostle Paul who by the guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT explained and narrates to us these passages concerning to third person of the HOLY TRINITY:

OLD TESTAMENT	NEW TESTAMENT
[Psalm 95:8-11] Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the desert, where your fathers tested and tried me, though they had seen what I did. For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, "They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways." So I declared on oath in my anger, "They shall never enter my rest." [Exodus 17:7] And He called the place Massah and Meribah, because the Israelites quarreled and tested the LORD, saying, "Is the LORD among us or not?"	[Hebrew 3:7-9] So, as THE HOLY SPIRIT SAYS: Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness, where your forefathers tested and tried ME, and for forty years saw what I did.
[Isaiah 6:9] He said, Go and tell this people: “Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving”	[Acts 28:25] They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made his final statement: “The HOLY SPIRIT SPOKE the truth to your forefathers when HE said through Isaiah the prophet: “Go to this people and say, “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.”

[Jeremiah 31:33] “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

[Hebrews 10:15–16] The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time", says the Lord. "I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.

  
HOLY SPIRIT IS A PERSON: HE has a mind that can think for Himself and can make decisions. HE can act and speak for Himself. HE IS CO-EQUAL, CO-ETERNAL WITH THE FATHER AND SON.

Baptizing them in the [NAME] of the FATHER [AND] of the SON [AND] of the HOLY SPIRIT [Matthew 28:19]

AMEN.

COMMON ARGUMENT TO NULLIFY THE PESONHOOD OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. In the Scriptures it is not unusual for something to be personified. Wisdom is said to have children. Luke 7:35 Sin and death are called kings. Romans 5:14, 21 At Genesis 4:7, The New English Bible says: "Sin is a demon crouching at the door," personifying sin as a wicked spirit crouching at Cain's door. But, of course, sin is not a spirit person; nor does personifying the holy spirit make it a spirit person.

FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. WE DON’T HAVE TO BELABOR WHAT IS OBVIOUS.

2. [Revelation 4:5] “And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.”

‘seven spirits of God’ in this verse obviously referring to an Impersonal Spirits [cannot speak, cannot decide etc] wherein the HOLY SPIRIT does not belong to since HE IS A PERSON according to Apostle Paul:

[1Corinthians 12:4-11] …the ONE and ONLY Spirit who distributes all these gifts. HE ALONE decides which gift each person should have.

One and Only: Paul did not say ‘One from Seven spirits of God’

He Alone decides: ‘Deciding’ is attributed only to a Living Individual Person with Mind and Personality. Again, Apostle Paul used the gender noun ‘HE’ not a neuter noun ‘IT’.

Another thing, not only the ‘seven lamps burning before the throne’ are called ‘the seven spirit of God’ if we read [Revelation. 5:6]:

“And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.”

The Lamb describe symbolically as having ‘seven horns and seven eyes’ which is also said to be ‘the seven spirits of God’.

So, what ‘seven spirits of God’ stand for? Answer:

We all know that Jesus Christ is the ‘LAMB’ that had been slain. But in this verse he was symbolically describe with ‘seven horns and seven eyes’. 

The Seven Eyes was known by Prophet Zechariah when he wrote:

[Zechariah 3:9] For behold, on the stone that I have set before Joshua, on a [SINGLE STONE] with
SEVEN EYES, I will engrave its inscription, declares the LORD of hosts.

STONE with SEVEN EYES, Jesus Christ is the [stone] the builders rejected [Acts 4:11] He is 'the stone which was regarded [Luke 20:17] But he looked directly at them and said, “What then is this that is written: “'The
stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone'?

And now, let see what 'the Seven Spirits of God' refer to; Prophet Isaiah prophesied and described Jesus Christ:

[Isaiah 11:2] “The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.” 

Clearly, 'the seven spirits of God' are not 'PERSON' like the HOLY SPIRIT in the TRIUNE GOD and the HOLY SPIRIT in the TRIUNE GOD is not 'IMPERSONAL' like 'the seven spirits of God'. 

Why number SEVEN? Because the number seven speaks of COMPLETENESS and FULLNESS. [2Kings 5:10-14] a leper named Naaman must dip seven times in Jordan River to receive his healing. [Psalm 12:6] ‘The word of the Lord are pure words as silver tried in a furnace, purified seven times” 

 

	Jesus Christ Co-Equal and Co-Eternal with the Father
[Zechariah 4:10] Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the LORD that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone	[Revelation. 5:6] stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
	[Zechariah 3:9] For behold, on the stone that I have set before Joshua, on a single stone with seven eyes,

For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body [Colossians 2:9]
